“We’ve been friends so long, I can’t remember which one of us is the bad influence" is a mixed media collage with layers of hand-painted papers, markers, and bold acrylic marks to create layers of depth and interest.  Hand-painted acrylic papers add bursts of vibrant energy.  Splatters and hand painted papers add dimension and depth to this painting. Who is this women who appeared out of the chaos that is my art?  I’ve gone beyond my comfort level.  Always trying new things.  This time with the help of Amanda Evanston.  Check out her work, it’s wild.  This piece is really several pieces put together to create the image of a woman with something to say.  She’s been cut up, torn and covered with scribbles and dots.  Yet with all this she has something to say. Does she remind you of someone you know?  This beautiful original mixed media collage is primarily created with acrylics on 140 lb watercolor paper and bristol board.  The piece is sealed with multiple coats of archival varnish and signed.  Frame is not included.
