Another collage that continues my obsession with black birds. It could be a crow or a raven. 

Collage paper paintings are created with many layers of acrylic paints, hand painted paper, old book pages, pencils, markers and other mark-making tools.  They are all unique one-of-a-kind pieces.  Singing the Blues was created on a panel board surface, which is similar to a canvas, however it is a more stable and provides a solid surface for applying many layers.  This collage is finished with a semi-gloss varnish which should reduce UV color damage.  The collage is signed, titled and wired on the back side and ready to hang on the wall without a frame. Sides are a continuation of the collage.  Frame is not included.
