The first in a new series that I am calling a Walk In The Woods. “Rainbow Grove” is reminiscent of calm quiet days where one realizes how big nature is. This first collage expresses how sometimes the path is easy to navigate as you slowly make your way.

Collage paper paintings are created with many layers of acrylic paint, hand-painted paper, old book pages, pencils, markers, and other mark making tools. They are all unique one-of-a-kind pieces. Rainbow Grove was created on a panel board surface. Similar to a canvas however, it is more stable than a canvas and provides a solid surface for applying many layers. This collage is finished with a semi-gloss varnish, which should reduce UV color damage. Signed, titled and wired on the backside and ready to hang on the wall without a frame. Sides are continuation of the collage. Frame is not included.
