"Polar", bridges the seasons, evoking the serene, icy coolness that offers respite from the sweltering heat of summer. During the heat of summer I painted this using a palette of cool and warm tones against winter's snow. "Polar" invites you to experience a unique blend of seasons and emotions - the warmth of the Colorado sun on a crisp winter day or the icy touch of ice cream on a hot summer afternoon.
