"Just Because" is a painted paper collage of a flower vase.  I love when my husband does something “just because”.  Usually, dinner or flowers, and I am so grateful.  I’m also grateful to be an artist “just because I can be.”  Collage paper paintings are created with many layers of acrylic paint, handmade painted papers, old book pages, pencils, markers, and other mark making tools. They are all unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. This piece is finished with a semi-gloss fine art quality varnish to prevent fading, and is signed, titled and wired on the reverse side.  This painting is ready to hang on the wall without a frame and the sides are painted black.  Frame is not included.
