And that’s why we’re friends.", is a mixed media collage with layers of hand-painted papers, markers, and bold acrylic marks to create layers of depth and interest.  Hand-painted acrylic papers add bursts of vibrant energy.  Dots of gold leaf sparkle amidst the layers, adding a touch of mystique and allure.  Who is this women who appeared out of the chaos that is my art?  I’ve gone beyond my comfort level and enjoy trying new things.  This time with the help of Amanda Evanston.  Check out her work, it’s wild.  This piece is really several pieces put together to create the image of a woman with something to say.  She’s been cut up, torn and covered with scribbles and dots.  Yet with all this she has something to say.  Does she remind you of someone you know?  Beautiful original mixed media collage is primarily acrylic on 140 lb watercolor paper and bristol board.  Sealed with multiple coats of archival gloss varnish and signed.  Frame not included.
