Colorado Bull is a tribute to the magnificent bull elk that wander around Estes Park, Colorado, and the YMCA camp nearby.  So many wonderful memories.
 
Collage paper paintings are created with many layers of acrylic paint, hand-painted paper, old book pages, pencils, markers, and other mark making tools.  They are all unique one-of-a-kind pieces.  Colorado Bull was created on a panel board surface.  Similar to a canvas however, it is more stable than a canvas and provides a solid surface for applying many layers.  This collage is finished with a semi-gloss varnish, which should reduce UV color damage.  Signed, titled and wired on the backside and ready to hang on the wall without a frame.  Sides are continuation of the collage.  Frame is not included.
