Aster is a paper painting collage. If you were born in September the Aster is your birth flower and symbolizes love, wisdom, faith and patience.
Collage paper paintings are created with many layers of acrylic paints, hand painted paper, old book pages, pencils, markers and other mark-making tools. They are all unique one-of-a-kind pieces. Aster was created on a panel board surface. Similar to a canvas however, it is a more stable l than a canvas and provides a solid surface for applying many layers. This collage is finished with a semigloss varnish which should reduce UV color damage.  Signed, titled and wired on the back side and ready to hang on the wall without a frame. Sides are a continuation of the collage.  Frame is not included.
